Fall 2026 Programs
At Velvet Antler Productions, we have so many great ways you can participate in classes. From drop in to bootcamps, workshops and mini sessions, we offer programs for a wide range of skill and commitment levels. For more information on schedules and class description, click one of the titles below.
No Bun Ballet
- Mondays 6:30 to 7:30pm
- May 25 to July 13
Join us weekly or on a drop-in basis for our Drop-in Programs! Ranging in styles, we have a number of open-level programs where you can move your body in a fun and supportive environment without the pressure of remembering choreography. You can pay for one class at a time, or purchase a punch pass.
- 22.50 plus GST per class
- 105.00 plus GST for a 5 Class Pass
- 210.00 plus GST for a 10 Class Pass
For the dancer with a goal in mind, or just looking for a boost, these 4-6 week technique sessions are strongly recommended before signing up for a bootcamp. Because our bootcamps focus on choreography, a new dancer is not going to learn the foundational technique for safe and confident execution. A bootcamp should not be your first class with VA, so come check out one of these!
Running August and September. Priced per program
Have some creative ideas brewing? We hold semi-private space for solo or small group (maximum 4 people) act development. Come with an idea for an act and we will work together to iron out details, work on prop use, musicality, costuming and choreography to put together a polished stage worthy act.
Hallowe’en and Naughty Nutcracker performance options
A great way to try something new, or dance when you can. Workshops are generally one off speciality programs or a short series of classes with minimal commitment. Taught by our master educators, like the incredible Chelsea Hart, workshops are offered at a variety of levels.
Running October and November. $30.00 plus GST per workshop
- 30.00 plus GST per workshop
Summer Training
Advanced VA Technique
- Thursdays, June 18 to July 16
- 7:30 to 9:30pm
- $125.00
This mini session is intended for dancers with years of experience. Class will focus on the necessary dance foundations to achieve VA performance choreography. Expect detailed instruction, specific feedback, and technical corrections while developing the lines, extension, and style that VA is known for.
Advanced VA Technique is a required pre season class for all participants of our Professional Performance Program and strongly recommended for dancers interested in more performance opportunities with VA. Available to dancers 16 years and up.
Advanced Workshop Series
- Wednesdays - 7:30 to 9:00pm
- $30.00 per class
ur summer workshop series focuses on more advanced training opportunities. Designed for the intermediate and up dancer looking for a challenge. Classes are taught in a variety of styles by VA team leaders, Kate, Becky, and Allyn, but you can expect foundations, foundations, foundations! Advanced does not always mean fast. Advanced does not need more choreography. Advanced doesn’t have to have tricks. Come learn the control to command the stage.
Available to dancers 17 years and up.
Not advanced? Our Open Drop In classes are recommended to participants with less experience.
Advanced Sensual Floor with Kate
- June 17
Starting with some conditioning and a good stretch, come explore your sexy side through floor balances and inversion tricks. A strong body that is injury free is best for this one, but bring your knee pads.
Advanced Contemporary Chair with Allyn
- June 24
A contemporary class with the additional fun (or challenge?) of a chair. You will jump right in with a full body warm-up then get familiar with yourself on a chair and dive into a fun combo. We will focus on musicality, lines, performance, and how to hold yourself on a chair without walking away bruised.
Advanced Showgirls with Becky
- July 8
Dance is a team sport! This workshop is a snapshot of showgirl-style performance. Focusing on true group choreography, expect to move in formation, changing weight, place and directions as one. Including head and arm lines, we might even navigate prop use too.
Advanced Heels with Kate
- July 15
We walk with intention. We pose with confidence. We use all of our ballet and jazz foundations to execute a single moment. Heels is dance technique first – lines, alignment, and extension. Expect a jazz tech style warm up, across the floor foundations, and choreography that includes floorwork.
Community Kick Off Pre-Season Intensive
- August 11th to 13th - Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
- 7:30 to 9:30
- $145.00
Join us for this 3 day intensive designed to set up our Community Kick Off dancers for performance success. Open to all dancers, ages 17 and up, at the intermediate level or higher. Over the three days, we’ll progress through ballet and jazz foundations, focusing on alignment and extension for strong kicks, and some precision heels choreography.
